CNA India Prime Minister Modi receives medal from Israel after visit to the Knesset

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was presented with a medal by the Knesset on Wednesday (Feb 25) in recognition of his support for Israel.

In his speech to the Israeli parliament, Modi hailed the partnership between India and Israel, saying the two countries share “shared ideals”. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Modi for standing by Israel, describing him as a friend.
