Singapore’s Lions returned home on Wednesday (Nov 19) to a heroes’ welcome after a historic Asian Cup qualifying win.

More than 100 fans showed up as the Lions arrived at Changi Airport, led by team captain Hariss Harun and Football Association of Singapore president Forrest Li.

The Lions made national sporting history at Kai Tak Stadium on Tuesday after beating Hong Kong 2-1 to qualify for the Asian Cup on their own merit for the first time. #singaporelions #singapore #sgnews
