CNA Fans bid farewell to Japan’s last pandas before they return to China

Popular giant panda twins Lei Lei and Xiao Xiao will leave Ueno Zoo in Tokyo on Jan 27 to join their sister in China, according to the Tokyo government and local media. While the move has been planned for some time, the pandas’ departure has been seen as symbolic of recently strained ties between China and Japan.
