CNA Explosion rocks Thai border police ammunition depot

An ammunition depot at a Thai border police station in Northeastern Surin was rocked by explosions as it went up in a massive wall of fire on Tuesday (Feb 24). The site was unmanned and only one minor injury was reported.

According to local media reports, vibrations from the explosion were so powerful that they were felt up to 3km away.

Security officials believe hot weather may have caused the explosion in the warehouse, where firearms and ammunition were stored. The cause of the fire is under investigation. #thainews #thailand
