CNA China removes emergency management minister, head of military court amid corruption crackdown

Two more Chinese officials have been removed from their posts. The anti-corruption watchdog put Minister of Emergency Management Wang Xiangxi under investigation last month, while Liu Shaoyun has been removed as head of the top court in the military – a role he had held since October 2023.
