CNA At least 4 dead after massive fire engulfs residential high-rise buildings in Hong Kong

At least 4 people are dead after a major fire engulfed multiple high-rise towers of a residential housing complex in Hong Kong’s northern Tai Po district on Wednesday (Nov 26).

The fire department said it received reports that a fire had broken out in Wang Fuk Court, a housing complex made up of eight blocks and close to 2,000 residential units.

Public broadcaster RTHK reported earlier that several people were trapped in the buildings and that some fire services staff were injured while trying to put out the massive flames.
