CNA 596 candidates vying for 73 seats in Malaysia’s Sabah State Election

It is the final week of campaigning before voters in Malaysia’s Sabah state head to the polls to elect a new government. A record 596 candidates are vying for 73 seats in the state assembly, and several multi-cornered fights are set up, with one constituency seeing a 14-way battle.
