China sees 3.5 billion trips in first 15 days of Spring Festival travel rush
China has recorded over 3.5 billion inter-regional passenger trips in the first 15 days of the Spring Festival travel rush. On Monday, Chinese New Year’s Eve, more than 220 million trips were projected – an 8.9 percent increase from 2025. The 40-day travel period began on February 2.
