China power projects achieve goals, providing stable and reliable electricity
At the start of this year, China’s electricity demand reached new heights, with the peak exceeding 1.4 billion kilowatts for the first time during winter. This stable power supply has ensured uninterrupted production and daily life. Recently, several new power facilities have been commissioned, enhancing grid stability nationwide. For example, in Yunnan, the China-Laos 500 kV interconnection project has completed its transmission line and in Shandong’s Rushan, a new 500 kV substation is improving supply reliability. In Jiangsu’s Yancheng, the supporting transmission system for the 2×100 MW expansion project is now online. These efforts are part of China’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its power infrastructure, ensuring a more reliable energy supply for the future.
