The Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command has conducted combat readiness patrols in the waters and airspace near Huangyan Dao, which is China’s inherent territory.
Since March, patrols have been intensified, with forces carrying out tracking, monitoring, warnings and expulsions.
The move is a response to provocations and aims to safeguard sovereignty and maintain stability in the South China Sea.
