छत्तीसगढ़ में 25 नक्सलियों ने हथियार डाल दिए. सिक्युरिटी फोर्सेज के सामने सरेंडर कर दिया. इसके बाद छत्तीसगढ़ के चीफ मिनिस्टर विष्णु देव साय ने एलान कर दिया कि अब छत्तीसगढ नक्सलवाद से मुक्त हो गया. बीजापुर जिले में जिन 25 माओवादी कैडरों ने सरेंडर कर दिया है. सरेंडर करने वालों में 12 महिला नक्सली भी शामिल हैं. सरेंडर करने वाले सभी नक्सली दण्डकारण्य स्पेशल जोनल कमेटी के मेंबर थे. इनके सिर पर करीब डेढ़ करोड़ रुपये का इनाम घोषित था.

In Chhattisgarh, 25 Naxals laid down their arms, surrendering to the security forces. Following this, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared that the state is now free from Naxalism. The 25 Maoist cadres who surrendered did so in the Bijapur district. Among those who surrendered were 12 female Naxals. All the surrendering Naxals were members of the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee. A bounty of approximately ₹1.5 crore had been declared on their heads.
