CGTN Uruguayan dairy giant Conaprole aims to expand presence in China

As President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Yamandu Orsi visits China with a high-level business delegation, and with agricultural cooperation high on the agenda. Dairy remains a cornerstone of bilateral trade, with China among Uruguay’s largest export markets for dairy products. CGTN’s Yang Chengxi spoke with Gabriel Fernández Secco, president of Uruguay’s dairy cooperative Conaprole, about expanding access to the Chinese market, addressing tariff barriers and a new strategic partnership with a Chinese dairy company.
