U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed on Sunday (November 30) that he spoke with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, but did not share details of their conversation. Maduro and senior members of his administration have not commented on the call.

Venezuela’s National Assembly will form a special commission to investigate President Trump’s deadly strikes on suspected drug-trafficking boats off the Venezuelan coast and in the eastern Pacific Ocean, the congressional body’s president said on Sunday.
