CGTN Trump says Putin ‘would like to end the war’ after Moscow talks

U.S. President Donald Trump said a meeting in Moscow between U.S. envoys and Russian President Vladimir Putin was “reasonably good” and that his impression was that Putin “would like to end the war.”

Trump said on Wednesday (December 3), the outcome remains uncertain, noting that “it takes two to tango,” but claimed that a framework with Russia is “pretty well worked out.”

He also repeated his assertion that the Russia-Ukraine conflict “would have never happened” if he had been president.
