A major fire occurred at an apartment complex in the Tai Po area of China’s Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in at least 65 deaths. CGTN Stringer reports that the HKSAR government and all sectors of society are intensifying their efforts, fueled by a surge of community donations to aid those affected and to reduce the tragic losses following the fire.
