CGTN PLA conducts long-range live-fire drills to north and south of Taiwan

The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) conducted live-fire training in the waters to the north and south of Taiwan Island on December 30, including long-range joint strikes with units of the ground forces, Navy, Air Force and Rocket Force.

Li Xi, spokesperson for the PLA Eastern Theater Command, noted that the drills achieved the desired effects.
