With temperatures continuing to drop, ski resorts across Baishan in northeast China’s Jilin Province have opened for the winter season, attracting skiing enthusiasts from across the country eager to experience the first runs of the season.

On November 15, newly opened slopes at Changbai Mountain welcomed visitors with options for skiers of all skill levels. The recent launch of the Shenyang-Baihe section of the Shenyang-Jiamusi High-Speed Railway has significantly boosted local winter tourism, with improved transportation and new resort facilities, drawing more visitors to the region’s snow sports scene.
