Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive John Lee and his wife cast their votes in the Legislative Council election on December 7, encouraging the public to take part in the democratic process. Polling stations across the city extended their hours to make voting more convenient for residents. Lee added that the new Legislative Council will soon hold a meeting, during which the government plans to propose a motion to advance institutional reform.
