The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) continues to recover from a devastating fire that claimed 159 lives. The HKSAR government has promised free housing for residents until their homes are rebuilt. Public donations have reached HK$2.1 billion ($270 million). As survivors begin the challenging process of rebuilding their lives, volunteers across the city have stepped in to assist.
