CGTN HKD 2.8 billion received in donations for Hong Kong disaster relief

At a press conference on December 4, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government said that the disaster-relief fund for Wang Fuk Court residents it set up has received 2.8 billion Hong Kong dollars (HKD) (about $360 million) in donations from various sectors of society. The fund will be used to help residents affected by the Wang Fuk Court fire rebuild their homes and restore their lives.
