A high-level Chinese business delegation is scheduled to visit the United States in early December. The delegation, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) at the invitation of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, includes companies from various sectors, such as agriculture and food, machinery and electronics, financial services, cross-border trade, logistics, biomedicine, and lifestyle and cultural products.

During the visit, the delegation will hold extensive discussions with U.S. political, business, and industry representatives, and host several China–U.S. business dialogue events. The group will also travel to Canada as part of its North America trip.

This is the first high-level Chinese business delegation to visit the U.S. after last month’s meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump in Busan, the Republic of Korea. According to CCPIT, the meeting has created a more favorable environment for business communities on both sides.
