CGTN Expert: Code name of PLA drills reflects China’s resolve to defend sovereignty

Meng Xiangqing, professor at the PLA National Defense University, explained the meaning behind the military drills around #Taiwan Island. The code name Justice Mission 2025 reflects two key ideas:

Justice: Representing China’s resolve to safeguard national sovereignty, oppose external interference, and counter “Taiwan Independence” separatist forces.

Mission: Highlighting the sacred duty to defend territorial integrity and protect the security and well-being of 1.4 billion Chinese people, including compatriots in Taiwan. #OneChina
