CGTN Dramatic rescue as 4-year-old drops into platform gap

A frightening moment unfolded at Baoji South Station in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province on December 1.
Just as the doors of Train G853 were about to close, a four-year-old child suddenly ran out of the carriage and slipped into the narrow gap between the train and the platform.
In seconds, station staff leapt into action. After a tense rescue effort, the child was safely pulled to safety.
