CGTN ‘Dragon of light’ breathes new life into ancient Chinese city

A “dragon of light”snakes through China’s Zhangzhou, “breathing” new life into this ancient city. The 100-meter-long illuminated dragon parade was held during the Southern Fujian Drama Week. The tradition, which has earned a spot in the Guinness World Records, is part of the region’s rich cultural heritage that is reanimated for a new generation by way of puppet shows and Gezai opera.
