More than 90 percent of global respondents to a recent CGTN opinion poll on the Japanese prime minister’s provocative Taiwan remarks agreed that Japan should reflect on its historical crimes and fully respect China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said on Wednesday that the results of the poll demonstrate that history will not be forgotten, nor can it be rewritten.
