CGTN Chinese FM Wang Yi meets Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Beijing on Wednesday, marking a key moment in bilateral relations. The meeting followed the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in 2025. Wang said China and Azerbaijan should remain reliable partners committed to win-win cooperation, viewing their relationship from a strategic and long-term perspective. Bayramov, meanwhile, noted the “positive trajectory” of ties as the two countries approach 35 years of diplomatic relations next year.
