Museums across China are drawing new crowds by serving foods inspired by cultural relics, blending dining with storytelling and social-media appeal. From Hebei Province’s “Changxin Palace Lamp” set meal to Anyang City’s oracle-bone-script noodles and Wuhan City’s bronze-bell beef noodles, visitors say the dishes are both visually striking and culturally immersive. Museum staff says the goal is to let people “taste” history — creating experiences that connect artifacts, local flavors and museum visits.
