CGTN China commissions new Type 052D destroyer

The PLA Navy in early 2026 commissioned a new Type 052D destroyer, featuring upgraded radar, weapon and network systems. Loudi, with the hull number 176, has completed high-intensity combat drills, testing rapid response, coordinated combat and anti-strike capabilities.
