CGTN Cheng Li-wun says DPP policy fuels tension amid ‘Justice Mission 2025’ drills

The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has carried out drills, code-named “Justice Mission 2025,” around Taiwan Island. Cheng Li-wun, chairperson of the Chinese Kuomintang party, said the Democratic Progressive Party’s (DPP) misguided cross-Strait policy is the reason the situation has escalated into heightened military tension and anxiety. She further stated that Lai Ching-te, as the leader of the Taiwan region, is not only leading himself down a dead-end path but is also dragging all 23 million people in Taiwan along with him.
