CDC Vouchers to be given out earlier, Cost-of-Living Special payment increased by S$200
Eligible Singaporeans will get an additional S$200 on top of the S$400 Cost-of-Living Special Payment announced during Budget 2026, said Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance Jeffrey Siow in parliament on Tuesday (Apr 7).
S$500 in CDC Vouchers – announced in Budget 2026 – will also be handed out this June instead of in January 2027.
These are part of the close to S$1 billion in additional support that the government is rolling out to help Singaporeans and businesses manage cost pressures amid the Middle East conflict. #singapore #sgnews
