CBC News Toyota RAV4 was Canada’s most stolen vehicle in 2024 — but that’s not the whole story

A new report from Équité Association shows Toyota and Honda models are among the most stolen vehicles in Canada by volume, but that’s mostly because there are so many of them on the roads. But luxury SUVs show up as being more frequently stolen when the data is adjusted for the number of insured vehicles.
