Protesters clashed with police in Morelia on Monday (November 3) after the assassination of Uruapan Mayor Carlos Manzo, who was gunned down during a public festival.
Demonstrators gathered outside the Michoacan government palace, shouting slogans and kicking doors, demanding justice and an end to violence. One protester, speaking anonymously, said “We’re tired as a people”.
