BLPC reminding companies of 16-foot height limit for vehicles
Traffic was backed up in the Wildey, St. Michael area today as a heavy-duty vehicle pulled down overhead lines and snapped a pole.
The Barbados Light and Power Company’s Communications Advisor, Cassandra Crawford, says the third-party vehicle caused serious damage to some of Light and Power’s infrastructure.
Ms. Crawford says the BLPC regrets any inconvenience caused to residential and commercial customers who were impacted.
At the same time, she is reminding companies with high-reaching vehicles in their fleet that there is a height capacity of 16 feet that must not be ignored.
