“Bihar’s Education System Now Worse Than During Lalu Yadav’s Rule”: Prashant Kishor #NDTV

Kishor argued that the government’s policy of establishing multiple schools across villages has led to poor resource management — with some schools lacking adequate teachers while others have excess staff but no proper infrastructure.

Despite an education budget of ₹60,000 crore, he said, there has been little visible improvement on the ground. Kishor further alleged that many students enrolled in government schools actually study in private institutions, while still availing government benefits such as free bicycles.
