अनंत सिंह के चुनाव लड़नेके कारण मोकमा बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव का हॉट सीट बन गया है। चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान जन सुराज पार्टी के समर्थक दुलारचंद यादव की हत्या के बाद पूरे देश की नजर इस सीट पर है। पहले चरण में हो रहे मतदान में 9 बजेतक यहां 13.1 प्रतिशत वोटिंग हुई है। यहां जनता दल यूनाइटेड(जेडीयू) ने पूर्व विधायक अनंत सिंह को मैदान मेंउतारा हैतो दूसरी ओर लालू यादव की पार्टी राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (राजद) ने पूर्व सांसद वीणा देवी(पूर्व सांसद बाहुबली नेता सूरजभान सिंह की पत्नी) वीणा देवी को टिकट दिया है। दोनों के बीच सीधी टक्कर है।
Due to Anant Singh contesting the elections, Mokma has become a hot seat in the Bihar Assembly elections. After the murder of Jan Suraj Party supporter Dularchand Yadav during the election campaign, the entire country is keeping an eye on this seat. In the first phase of voting, 13.1 percent voting has taken place here till 9 am. Here, Janata Dal United (JDU) has fielded former MLA Anant Singh, while on the other hand, Lalu Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has given ticket to former MP Veena Devi (wife of former MP and strongman leader Suraj Bhan Singh). There is a direct contest between the two.
