अभिषेक बनर्जी भी चुनाव आयोग के पास शिकायत करने पहुंच गए, लेकिन उनकी शिकायत चुनाव आयोग के ही खिलाफ थी. अभिषेक बनर्जी ने पहले ट्वीटर पर एक वीडियो पोस्ट किया और इसके बाद सीधे सीईओ के ऑफिस जा पहुंचे. अभिषेक बनर्जी ने कहा कि बंगाल में अभी भी नये वोटर जोड़े जा रहे हैं. संदिग्ध तरीके से तीस हजार से ज्यादा फॉर्म 6 जमा किए जा रहे हैं. ऐसे लोगों के नाम वोटर लिस्ट में जोडे जा रहे हैं जो बंगाल के वोटर नहीं है.

Abhishek Banerjee, too, approached the Election Commission to lodge a complaint—though his grievance was directed against the Election Commission itself. Banerjee first posted a video on Twitter, following which he proceeded directly to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO). Abhishek Banerjee alleged that new voters are still being added to the rolls in Bengal. He claimed that over 30,000 ‘Form 6’ applications are being submitted under suspicious circumstances, and that individuals who are not bona fide voters of Bengal are having their names added to the electoral rolls.
