Beidou navigation, intelligent sowing empower spring cotton ploughing in #Xinjiang #coolchina
It is the key period of spring ploughing and sowing in Aksu in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a major high-quality cotton-producing area in #China. In Shaya County, over 100,000 hectares of high-standard cotton fields are seeing large seeding machines working efficiently. In Xinhe County, intelligent seeders equipped with #Beidou navigation achieve an error of less than 2 centimeters, covering about 6-9 hectares per day. Water-saving technology and a mechanization rate of over 98% ensure smooth sowing across about 500,000 hectares of cotton. Sowing is expected to be fully completed by late April, laying the foundation for high yields.
