Germany’s most senior soldier has told the BBC that the threat from Russia has never been more urgent.

General Carsten Breuer, head of Germany’s armed forces, is urging Western leaders to “join the dots” on the war in Iran and the Russia invasion of Ukraine.

Breuer tells the BBC’s Special Correspondent Allan Little, how he is rapidly turning Germany’s military into the most powerful conventional force in Europe.
