Police have released new footage of a person of interest in the deadly mass shooting at Brown University in the US state of Rhode Island.

Four days after the gunman killed two people and injured nine others, a suspect is yet to be identified.

Officials are appealing for patience as the investigation proceeds, and have asked local residents to check security cameras to see if they have any footage of the suspicious “person of interest”.

The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information on the suspect.
