पाकिस्तानी फील्ड मार्शल आसिम मुनीर की महत्वाकांक्षा लगातार बढ़ रही है. खबर है कि मुनीर ने 2030 तक के लिए एक्सटेंशन की डिमांड की है. 2027 में मुनीर कार्यकाल खत्म हो रहा है. लेकिन अब वो किसी भी हालत में अपना कार्यकाल बढ़ाना चाहता है. खबर है कि इस मुद्दे पर रावलपिंडी और इस्लामाबाद के बीच टेंशन भी हाई हो गया है. मुनीर की डिमांड के बीच पाकिस्तान के पॉलिटिशियन मौलाना फजल उर रहमान ने मुनीर आर्मी को करगिल याद दिलाया है. कहा मुनीर आर्मी को करगिल याद रहना चाहिए, पाकिस्तान की हालत को नहीं भूलना चाहिए.
