Army helicopter pilots who flew near Kid Rock’s house won’t be punished: Hegseth
US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Tuesday (Mar 31) that the crew of two Apache attack helicopters that flew near singer Kid Rock’s home in Nashville would not face any punishment or further investigation. In a post on X, Hegseth added that an earlier suspension on the crews would also be lifted.

Hegseth’s announcement followed remarks by US President Donald Trump, who appeared to play down the incident. “They probably shouldn’t have been doing it,” he said. “Maybe they were trying to defend him.”

Kid Rock, a vocal supporter of US President Donald Trump and his administration, posted a video over the weekend on X showing the helicopters hovering near his home while he saluted towards the crew. #petehegseth #usnews
