Appeal to support Poppy Appeal #CaribbeanBroadcastingCorporation

The call comes from Major Charles Brathwaite of the Barbados Poppy League and the Barbados Legion.

The former member of the Barbados Defence Force, who served during the Grenada Uprising, says the Poppy Appeal allows them to remember those who served faithfully.

Major Brathwaite notes that in Barbados, the Poppy League is the fundraising arm of the Barbados Legion.

This year’s Remembrance Day Parade will be held on Sunday at Heroes Square, and all are invited to support the island’s veterans.
