APEC summit: Leaders adopt joint declaration that stresses resilience, trade benefits
Leaders of the APEC economies adopted a joint declaration that stressed the need for resilience and shared benefits in trade, at the end of their annual summit. The meetings took place under the shadow of rising trade tensions over tariffs and export controls, though the two largest economies – the US and China – reached a truce ahead of the summit.
