Watch: Youth volunteer restoration after chaos in Nepal; Gen Z’s clean up drive in Kathmandu
Residents in Kathmandu mobilised on Wednesday (September 10) for a clean-up operation following days of anti-corruption protests that led to the resignation of Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli. Volunteers made up of mostly youths gathered at the Nepal Department of Transport Management office to clear rubble, broken furniture and shattered glass. Youths cleaned up offices, swept floors and pavements, packed debris into trash bags, and loaded garbage trucks.
