US Prez Trump celebrates as ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ cancelled by ABC news after Charlie Krik controversy
In a sensational development, Walt Disney-owned ABC pulled “Jimmy Kimmel Live” off the air. After comments by late-night show’s host about assassination of Charlie Kirk triggered political row. Broadcaster was facing pressure from Trump administration to down the show: Reported Reuters. Following the development, Trump celebrated on Truth Social, calling it “Great News for America.” He congratulated the broadcaster, for cancelling the “ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show.” Kimmel made remarks on Monday night about the September 10 assassination of Kirk. A number of Democratic lawmakers assailed the decision, saying that free speech was under attack. “’Jimmy Kimmel Live’ will be pre-empted indefinitely,” ABC spox said, without elaborating, said Reuters. Trump in his post also called on Comcast-owned, opens new tab NBC to fire Jimmy Fallon & Seth Meyers. MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize who murdered Kirk as anything other than one of them: Kimmel responded.
