‘US president believes in Ukraine’s ability…’ Macron backs Trump’s ‘U-turn’ on Russia-Ukraine war
French President Emmanuel Macron on September 23 welcomed comments by U.S. President Donald Trump appearing to shift his rhetoric about the war in Ukraine. Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform that he believed Ukraine can win back all of the territory Russia has taken since its invasion, although he gave no indication of how that would affect U.S. policy.
