Telangana: Passing out parade underway at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy
The passing out parade for the 77th Regular Recruit (RR) batch of IPS officer trainees is underway at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad. The event commenced with the national and academy flags being raised, accompanied by the national anthem. Spectators stood at attention while uniformed officers saluted as a mark of respect. A central part of the ceremony is the oath-taking, administered by Academy Director Sri Amit Gurg. Trainees pledged allegiance to the Constitution and the core values of the Indian Police, vowing to perform their duties without fear, favor, affection, or ill-will, and to uphold justice for all. The academy continues to strive toward becoming a global center of excellence in police training, focused on developing world-class policing standards, producing high-quality literature, and upholding exemplary service values for the safety and security of the nation.
