‘Soon GDP will be third leading…’ Union Min Hardeep Singh Puri lauds India’s growth at PSPB event
At an event organised by Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB), Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said, “Today, we are growing. In 2014, ours was a 2 trillion-dollar economy, we were in the 11th position. We then rose to the 5th position and now we are in the 4th position. In some time, our GDP will be the third leading. It is a matter of just a few months…When we measure the success of the country, I think it will not be in terms of GDP numbers but in how we fare on the sports field…”
