According to media reports, the stolen pieces were from the Napoleon collection after the thieves broke into the Apollo Gallery. Police were seen inspecting a crane outside the museum, which is believed to have been used during the robbery. News agency Reuters shared footage showing a broken window at the scene. In response, security around the museum was heightened, and the Louvre was closed for the day, as authorities confirmed in a tweet on X.
