Pak’s aggression to put peace talks in jeopardy? Khawaja Asif lands in Kabul amid military standoff
Violating the temporary ceasefire, Pakistan launched several airstrikes on Afghanistan causing significant casualties. At least 6 people were killed and 7 were wounded in a series of airstrikes conducted by Pakistan reported Tolo News.Hours after the attack, The Afghan Govt has vowed strong retaliation, citing its ‘right to respond’ against Islamabad’s aggression. Taliban Spox Zabihullah Mujahid condemned the Pakistani airstrikes calling ‘it a setback for peace efforts’. Amid flaring tensions, a high-level delegation from Pakistan, led by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has landed in Kabul.
